Marmalade Fly
This is a shot of Britain,s mostcommon hover Fly. It resembles the common wasp, but has no sting, it will not attack. One strange fact is the Hover Fly,s larvae has a vile taste to protect it from predators.
I never tire of viewing your work. This time I really like the color of the capture and position of the bee, you must have much patience for this type of photography!.
Great macro Alex!
ReplyDeleteOh wow -- it does look like a wasp. Great shot!
