Rocky beach

This is Doonfoot shore line near my home in Scotland.

  1. Now that is a mood of Scotland ! What is the land visible in the far distance where the clouds just come down to touch the horizon? You are lucky I think to live in such a beautiful place... I'd love to come back to Scotland, I've only been once, a long time ago, to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and as far north as Oban for a couple of days... not nearly long enough.

  2. Hi Owen, Thanks for your kind comments, the land you see in the background is the island of Arran. It's 26 miles from mainland Scotland, they call this island Scotland in miniature, because it has rolling hills to the south. And high mountains to the north.
